I expected more

Liked: You're not expecting a random chain hotel when checking in to Steigenberger. And it was absolutely fine, but not exceptional. Location is great too.
Disliked: The room was nicely done, but a bit run down. Breakfast personnel not up to par. Breakfast was Ibis-level, not above. Reception very distant like I didn't belong there.

Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin was the...

Liked: The location was OUTSTANDING! We flew into Stuttgart, took the train to the hotel and then used the train to travel to the MB Museum, the Porsche Museum, the MB factory and then to Frankfurt. The hotel is located in an area of Stuttgart that is a short walk no matter where you want to go in Stuttgart!
Disliked: The pillows were a bag of fluff. I know some people who like that but I prefer firm/foam pillows. In our travels in Europe, firm/foam pillows aren't popular so this isn't a complaint with the hotel, just be aware!
