Very nice hotel but in...

Liked: Very friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed, enough space in the room (single rooms are often tiny). Overall, a nice hotel.The location was very convenient, close to the U-Bahn and a short walk to the old town as well as to the shopping streets.
Disliked: Although the location was convenient for getting around the city, it had its downsides.It was so noisy. It was impossible to sleep with the windows open and that meant the room was too hot despite the large fan in the room. In the afternoon there was a noisy demonstration going on outside a building next door. There was a very loud open air concert very close until quite late and there was general noise from people walking past, police outside, delivery trucks etc. I didn't sleep well unfortunately. It was a shame as the hotel is actually lovely.
