Liked: Central location, clean, breakfast included. Free water.
Disliked: Rooms are very basic, spartan. There is no bar, and almost almost no guests at the restaurant for the four nights we stayed.

Liked: I occasionally have to spend a day or two in Nuremberg, and I always book this hotel. Why? Because it's usually a very good price, the staff are always friendly and the breakfast is really good considering it's basically a budget option. RIght in the centre of the city, it's also just arounf the corner from the U-Bahn, which is a bonus when arriving late at night from the airport.
Disliked: I recently stayed here during the July 2025 heatwave. I was on the second floor and although the staff provided a large fan, air-conditioning would have been very much appreciated.

Liked: Very friendly receptionist with a mustache gave me a suggestion for a tour of the old town. I can say it was excellent guided. It completely changed my perception of Nuremberg! Many thanks for that!

Friendly hotel in city centre

Liked: Loved this hotel. It has a real old school, family run vibe. Short walk from the train station and within the Aldstadt walls.Really friendly staff who were happy to give advice and suggestions about seeing the city as well as store luggage. They also helped us out when our train was cancelled and we had to print new tickets.The room was surprisingly spacious, well appointed and had a really nice walk-in shower room. Good breakfast buffet too. Didn't eat at the attached restaurant but can vouch for it's excellent wine list.
