The Spotlight on Staypineapple At The Maxwell Hotel

Funky, colorful comfort just steps from Seattle’s music scene

Modern, bold, and bursting with personality, Staypineapple At The Maxwell Hotel is a fun, art-filled boutique hotel in the heart of Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. With vibrant interiors, original artwork, and unexpected touches (pineapple treats, anyone?), this hotel puts you just a short stroll from Seattle Center, the Space Needle, and some of the city’s top concert venues.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re just a quick walk to major music venues near Seattle Center, so no need to stress about parking or late-night rideshare costs. The hotel’s proximity to the monorail makes downtown gigs a breeze to reach. After the show, relax in chic rooms with soundproofing, plush robes, and walk-in showers. Late check-out at 12:00 PM means you can sleep in after a late night. And if you’re up for it, hop on one of the hotel’s free bicycles and explore the city by day.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends who want a colorful, social base
Solo travelers catching a big-name show
Couples planning a music-filled weekend getaway
Fans looking for a calm, quirky wind-down spot
Budget-conscious music lovers who still want style and walkability

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no full-service restaurant on-site, the hotel’s espresso stand offers smoothies, coffee, and snacks for pre-show fuel or post-show cravings. Complimentary pineapple treats and coffee are available in the afternoon, and with a microwave and fridge in every room, you can stash your own late-night bites. Breakfast options are easily walkable, and the in-room gourmet coffee maker is a lifesaver after a long night.

Nightlife Options

You’re surrounded by bars and lounges in Lower Queen Anne and Belltown, both local favorites for pre- and post-show vibes. While the hotel doesn’t host live music, the area buzzes with nightlife. Looking for something more low-key? Chill with a drink in your robe and slippers back at the room, or grab a smoothie and unwind in the lobby’s artsy lounge spaces.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s quirky personality, friendly staff, and unbeatable location near the Space Needle and concert venues. Reviewers frequently mention the clean, comfy rooms, excellent walkability, and thoughtful amenities like free bike rentals and afternoon treats. Many say it’s their go-to spot when catching a show in Seattle.

Areas for Improvement

The hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant or bar, so if you’re looking for a full sit-down dinner or drinks on-site, you’ll need to head out. Some guests also note that parking is a bit pricey—but that’s pretty common in this part of Seattle.

The Bottom Line

Staypineapple At The Maxwell Hotel is a vibrant, walkable, and comfort-forward choice for concert-goers who want fun, convenience, and a touch of quirky charm after the show.

For $ 119.00 a night (on sale), wasn't that great a room. Torn lampshade; finger prints all over the TV; not very clean.

Disliked: Paid for a King room; no chair except for the one at the computer desk.
