Staypineapple At Hotel Rose

The best part of this hotel was that we had a view of the city. If you're wanting to be close to everything stay here! Everything we wanted to do was a few foot steps and/or Uber/Lyft call away. This hotel is beautiful and comfortable.

Liked: How kind and informative the staff was - they made me feel at home away from home!
Disliked: Parking cost was high, but understandable.

You get what you pay...

Liked: The location was nice and that it’s in front of the river. The free drinks were also very nice.
Disliked: The hotel does not look like the photos. I was disappointed it looks like a cheap motel. The carpets are stained and it smells. The bathroom shower didn’t look too clean. The walls are very thin and we can hear people walk by clearly and could hear traffic outside our window.

Great price and great location....

Liked: The location was by the waterfront. The price for parking was decent. It had a water fill-up station. There was always someone at the front desk. The room was very comfortable for us and our kid.
Disliked: There are homeless people everywhere. There were homeless tents right in-front of the hotel. It smelled like piss when walking in-front of the hotel.

We come back for the...

Liked: The beds! Always the beds! The friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: The a/c in the room we were given did not work.(It was +100f outside and definitely needed). And the tub didn't hold water. The extremely friendly and helpful maintenance worker helped us move rooms. The room we were moved to was slightly better, cooling wise, but it was still really warm. I received a call shortly after apologizing and offering us a free night, which was very nice of them. We have stayed here previously, and came back as soon as we realized we would be back in Portland. Warning: the beds make it where you don't want to explore the town. You don't want to leave the room!!
