The best part of this hotel was that we had a view of the city. If you're wanting to be close to everything stay here! Everything we wanted to do was a few foot steps and/or Uber/Lyft call away. This hotel is beautiful and comfortable.
Liked: How kind and informative the staff was - they made me feel at home away from home!
Disliked: Parking cost was high, but understandable.

Liked: With the exception of the lady commanding the check-in desk upon our arrival on Friday, 2/07, all staff were friendly and eager to assist.
Disliked: There were several flaws which we found irritating. First off, the parking situation is flawed, as non hotel guests use the on-site parking, depriving guests of the opportunity to park. Despite paying twenty-four dollars per night, we we forced to find street parking. Secondly, our room was not tidied up by housekeeping. We had to call from desk to receive clean towels. Third, noise from adjoining rooms was excessive. And finally, on the morning of Sunday the 9th, we were awakened by a fire alarm, with no announcement or follow-up from guest services. I am disabled and had to stumble down stairs to the lobby, only to be told to vacate. Poor followup on the staff.

Good value
Liked: We arrived to a room full of balloons for my husband's birthday and it was so thoughtful! He loved it. The bed was also very comfortable and room temperature was great. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The elevator bank is next to the room, and it's a bit noisy, though I'm not sure how to change that.

Superb
Liked: Restaurant/ bar is nice. Breakfast was great. Parking is less expensive than most of the downtown hotels. We used their EV charger. Easy walk to many downtown places. Right next to a light rail stop.
Disliked: Perhaps it’s time to call in the window washer, but that might just be the Portland winter.

Would definitely stay again!
Liked: Went for my birthday. There was a birthday card in my room and the staff repeatedly wished me a happy birthday. It was just a nice and unexpected touch. Water filling station was also a nice feature.
Disliked: The European comforters weren't my favorite. It kept falling off during the night.

My best experience at a...
Liked: The personality and soul of the property is there. I could see many people being overwhelmed by the pineapples, or think they’re tacky or silly, but I LOVE it. People don’t really know that pineapples are a symbol of hospitality, so it’s really cool for a hotel business model to revolve around pineapples. I loved how the beds were set up, with a how-to sheet for the different way to use the two duvets. All the amenities are amazing! The staff is amazing and kind as well. I don’t remember the name of the man who checked me in, but he was very kind and informational, and even remembered my name in the morning (I checked out with a nice lady instead and he called me by name as I left). This all just makes a great difference for people who travel a lot or don’t and struggle to find a place to stay. Thank you for having such a great and beautiful hotel. I also work at a hotel as well so when I travel, I am particular about where I stay. In conclusion, I am very impressed and satisfied with my stay here.
Disliked: I can’t think of any complaints I would have. I had no issues the whole time.
