Stayokay Hostel Utrecht - Bunnik

Very good

Liked: Really nice place if you want to rest a little. StayOkay staff is really great and helpfull. Breakfasts are also really nice and tasty. In general, I recommend it, but there are a few things you need to pay attention to.
Disliked: Unfortunately theres no place if you want to charge your phone. 3 electrical sockets for 6 people in the room is really not enough. Especially when the 2 of them are hidden behind the bed in the corner. Since this is a hostel and shared room, there should be a socket in every single bed, to make it really comfortable if you want to rest. The beds are old and squeaky, which can really make not comfortable noise at night. Also forget about the Wi-Fi, even in the public space of the hostel sometimes its working, but mostly not. But yeah, this is still a nice place, apart from all these inconveniences. I will definitely come back if necessary :)

Liked: We book a room with a view on the park : the only thing we see is a huggly scaffolding. Nobody tell us before, no discount for the inconvenance, for 130e the night : what a shame...a kind of arnaque.The room is so basic, urgently need to be refreshed....Breakfast is good, but breakfast room is so cold, don't forget your gloves...

Liked: Nice green area, good wifi, friendly young staff, fantastic breakfast including vegan options. Locked shed for bikes.
Disliked: No common space inside, no kitchen or fridge or kettle to make own tea or coffee. Quite remote, 30 mins walk to supermarket, similar time to train station.

Liked: The place is situated at a lovely place for any hiking lover. But the facilities is shockingly disappointing.

Liked: Breakfast was good. On-site cafe was good with friendly staff
Disliked: The room was freezing cold even with the heater turned up. The wind was whistling through the bottom of the window and even putting a towel on the window ledge didn't help. The girl on reception didn't seem to know about the bus from the end of the road and couldn't help with how to get to Utrecht which I would think was a fairly basic and common question.
