Liked: Bed, staff, wifi, location
Disliked: Construction, no pool, fire alarm going off daily, price while under construction a bit steep.

Shower needs to be fixed

Liked: The location and the overall outlook
Disliked: Shower in the bathroom was not working at all. There was no water pressure and no hot water available. Traveling with kids it's very tough not to get them showered up. Nobody told us about this. And on letting the staff know at front desk was told that due to some renovation the showers are like this. I have never commented about bad experiences but this is not about bad experience this is about spending $270 plus taxes and not getting a basic need met that is part of any decent facility. I honestly will expect a reimbursement or some sort of compensation for this. Imagine that you can not shower properly and then you have to travel as well. Not a good experience at all.

Bad

Liked: The rooms were spacious. The laundry availability.
Disliked: It was overpriced. The room was dirty. The breakfast area was gross, we didnt eat there, the waffle station looked like it had been in a food fight. The pool was closed. The room had a foul odor. There were no door knobs on the doors, no trash cans. Showers were dirty. It was the worst hotel we stayed in EVER!

Hotel and Booking.com should note...

Liked: The new updated room was very nice.
Disliked: Website should state MAJOR renovations. No breakfast (one of the reasons I picked the hotel). Had to walk around major construction materials. Elevator has to walk through paper to get in.

Liked: The place is under renovation so it was very dirty. The room we finally got was just newly renovated but it was done cheaply. The outlets had paint on them and they did not match the decor. Things were missing from the kitchen.
Disliked: The fact that one of the outlets did not work next to the bed. It took 20 minutes to get hot water for a shower. Hardware was missing from one of the doors.

Exceptional

Passable

Liked: The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: That I wasn't notified ahead of time that breakfast would not be available for my stay due to construction. There were no bath towels in my room when I took my shower.
