Had a very pleasant stay at Staybridge during a very busy weekend in St. Petersburg. The hotel staff is outstanding. The free breakfast is wonderful and the restaurant staff is unusually friendly and accommodating. I would have liked more space in the bathroom, better lighting for reading in bed, and a table and chair for eating when taking advantage of the very nice kitchenette.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff; great breakfast; clean and comfortable room.
Disliked: Tiny bathroom; no table for eating; not enough lighting for reading in bed.

Liked: The breakfast was very good, the room was nice and comfortable,, everything was clean and we had a nice view to the pool
Disliked: We were next to a big group and they were very loud, opening and closing the door till late, the smell in the hallway. We couldn't use the pool cause again, there was a big group staying at the hotel

Worst Hotel Experience: Dirty, Cold...

Disliked: Filthy Rooms, No Hot Water. I stayed in two rooms—one had a stained bathtub, and the other had a filthy toilet that hadn’t been cleaned (someone had defecated in it and it was left uncleaned). There was no hot water, so my young daughters had to shower with cold water, and the TV had no remote. I was promised a refund by the front desk, but that turned out to be false. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Liked: Rooms had nice setup and we were able to get early check-in on two of the three, one upon arrival and one soon after which was much appreciated. Christelle at the front desk was courteous and very helpful. Kitchen setup in the room was great, and a very important factor for me when traveling due to many dietary requirements. My family members enjoyed the subscription TV available. We loved being able to gather at tables in the lobby. Parking is reasonable. The fitness room was well set; would have liked to have an exercise ball. Evening wine bar was a nice touch.
Disliked: Closet had need of wall repair. Fifth floor stairwell had paint tracked on the carpet due to recent painting. One of doors from patio area was not functioning. These are relatively minor, but worth remedying. Would have liked to know more about beaches and other places to visit that don't require, or have modest, admission fees.
