Had a very pleasant stay at Staybridge during a very busy weekend in St. Petersburg. The hotel staff is outstanding. The free breakfast is wonderful and the restaurant staff is unusually friendly and accommodating. I would have liked more space in the bathroom, better lighting for reading in bed, and a table and chair for eating when taking advantage of the very nice kitchenette.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff; great breakfast; clean and comfortable room.
Disliked: Tiny bathroom; no table for eating; not enough lighting for reading in bed.

Liked: Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Clean room, quiet. Shower sang at times but worked well. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Kudos to the kitchen crew! Pool area was adequate.
Disliked: The outdoor pool area tables and chairs needed some cleaning. Lighting issues in the room, poor lighting in kitchen area. Light on microwave not working and light on desk not working. Lots of sirens at that location.

Very Bad experience on a hotel chain I used to like very much!!

Liked: The Hotel is in a good location, central to all in Saint Petersburg.
Disliked: When I arrived, I was advised my room (booked and confirmed 2 months earlier) was given away! I was told that Booking.com was to blamer by the front desk staff... But learned later that booking booked and also received confirmation on my room 2 months earlier. Our room was given away so the hotel could sell at a higher rate for a baseball game going on that weekend. The room we were given was substandard at best and had no coffee cups or dishes available to use. Some dishes were in the dishwasher but were still dirty and was only a few things ... Breakfast was a disaster, no clean plates or coffee available on the morning we went down to try. Poor service overall.

Liked: The location is near the ballpark and within walking distance of multiple restaurants, the bay, and the Dali Museum. The hotel is easy to find; check-in and check-out was easy and efficient. We appreciated the kitchen.
Disliked: Requiring a $50 deposit charged to a credit card for incidentals. Then it takes days for it to be refunded. I wonder how much interest IHG is getting from all of these deposits?

Liked: due to road work it was hard getting around(not hotel's fault). Breakfast were really good . meet and great affairs with wine and appetizers was unexpected and very nice. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Would recommend to everyone.
