Liked: Proximity to where I needed to go for my visit
Disliked: Location of the hotel was not worth the cost. Hotels in the ?downtown? area weren?t as pricey and had a better location surrounding the hotels

Liked: Breakfast room has seating indoors and outdoors right next to the river and a walkway long the river..Free breakfast is healthier than many. Choice of fruit, you hurt, an egg sandwich, oatmeal, in addition to bread(s), bagels, a few danish type choices. They offered Silk as well as other dairy drinks. Staff was responsive, courteous.

Excellent except for environmentally-unfriendly aspects...
Liked: Spacious room with kitchen and all amenities. Comfortable bed. Clean. Perfect location right on the riverwalk. Long breakfast hours relieved anxiety about missing it. Free guest laundry was clean and incredibly handy.
Disliked: What I really did not like was the plastic and styrofoam used at the breakfast buffet. I understand that during COVID times hotels have to do things differently (I rather liked the take-away breakfast, actually), but these days, there are ample choices for eco-friendly containers and utensils. There is ZERO need to use Earth-murdering styrofoam and plastic, and any conscious hotel will never use them again, ever. Also, there were no receptacles for recyclables, so I ended up packing soda cans and bottles into my car to recycle later. Really, at this time of climate crisis, hotels should be leaders in finding environmentally-conscious solutions. Rochester Institute of Technology is practically next door to this hotel, and it has a first-rate environmental science program making cutting-edge advances every day. Why not give them a call?
