Liked: Staff was very professional and very nice. The location was convenient for my purposes.
Disliked: I REALLY think this property is overpriced. The amenities in the room are sparse for a high priced property. Also - many people do NOT like creamers - please provide REAL milk products for those do not like fake creamers. I know this is picky - but for over $200 night I do not expect to bring my own half and half (or milk) for my coffee. You may think this is a small thing - but the first thing I look for is the ability to make decent coffee in my room. (I spent some time in the room online and this was important).

A good option in Kalamazoo

Liked: A comfortable hotel with friendly staff, not far from WMU. Apart from the glitch noted below, it was a very pleasant stay. Thanks.
Disliked: An apparent tech glitch resulted a failure to update my contact and payment information from Booking.com and my reservation being canceled at the last minute. I can't tell whether the problem was with the hotel's computer system or with its interface with Booking. The staff did their best to resolve the immediate problem, but I would advise Booking customers reserving here to confirm that their information has imported properly, just in case.

Disliked: I’ve been here 5 years ago and it has gone downhill since then. Breakfast was badly attended, not very clean and on Sat/Sun items were missing and the the floor was a disaster. During the night of Saturday someone pissed in the elevator and it wasn’t cleaned until 11am next morning. What a disgrace!

Disliked: Had issue w original room which was addressed and then some!

Not a bad property but...

Liked: We’ve stayed at this property several times and always loved it for the friendly staff.
Disliked: We couldn’t get hot water in the shower and it didn’t seem like a concern to the staff member that was notified. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Exceptional

The stay was cozy and...

Liked: The room was cozy and stunning. We all had nice hot showers and got to relax and enjoy the morning of a wedding. We had a hair and makeup team come in and there was lots of room for them to work.
Disliked: I had called to set up a late checkout but the information was never put down and I ended up getting a call 40 minutes after regular checkout time. She handled it well and said it was okay to stay until the time I had mentioned before so I'm glad it wasn't a huge problem.
