Staybridge Suites Cranbury - South Brunswick By IHG

We have been traveling across the US for the past 4 weeks and have stayed in numerous hotels along the way. I think our stay at Staybridge Suites Cranbury, has been the best yet.

Liked: All positive.
Disliked: Not a single thing.

Cons outweigh Pros

Liked: Quiet area but still close to stores, restaurants and event spaces. Not an overly booked hotel so it was not busy or loud. Breakfast changes everyday so there is a variety.
Disliked: AC in room constantly shutting off making things very hot. Kitchenette was really unusable without cooking supplies (pots, pans, place setting for 2 when booked for 3). Only 2 bath towels, booked for 3 people. Breakfast is mediocre.

Liked: Nice rooms. Liked the free laundry.
Disliked: AC didn’t work. Extremely hot in room. Staff gave me fan to help. Hotel was full, and couldn’t transfer us to a new room. Since I booked through booking, couldn’t compensate the nights stay. So I paid for a room that truly was unpleasant.

It was hot and uncomfortable...

Liked: It’s nice to look at. Nice sitting areas. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Disliked: Air Conditioning does work in the rooms. First room I was in, it was 74 degrees. It was 72 degrees in the hotel itself and at night, the outside temperature dropped to 64 degrees. The room never once went below 71 degrees. I set the thermostat to 69 hours before coming back to the room. I asked another guest about the air conditioning in their room and they had the same issue. I said there was going to be 3 guests and there was only one towel.

Disappointing

Disliked: There was no mattress on the pull out bed which said it was a queen, it was a twin at best. No sheets either. The tv did not work, called the front desk, girl replied she would send someone in the morning. She never sent anyone. Called again in the afternoon. Someone finally brought a new tv. We had rain during our stay and the halls got an awful stench of cat pee!
