Even with the thermostat problem,...
Liked: Location; staff
Disliked: My room stayed cold. Staff came to fix the problem, but I think there was a problem with the thermostat itself. You’d turn it off and 10 minutes later it would magically come back on by itself blowing very cold air.

Liked: Breakfast could have been better. Consider those with allergies, and opt for more homemade items. When I checked out your front desk Host was very nice and helpful. She was concerned and said she was sorry about our unhappy stay. She is who should be at the front desk and not the other one. I felt like we were not welcomed because we were black. I am in the hospitality Industry, and I would never treat my guests the way we were treated. This was for my sister's 64th birthday week, and I planned this stay, so I was disappointed with the service.
Disliked: First impression is everything when you walk in to check in. I waited for 10 minutes before someone came to the desk. I was standing there, and another guest, a woman, came around the corner. The lady spoke to her and said How can I help you, She said I would like to check in. That is when I spoke up and said I'm sorry, but I was here first. Your host then said Oh, I thought you had already been helped. She was the only one there, so that was a lie. After that, she was curt. I handed her my ID and credit card while she was pulling up information on the computer. Then she said I need to charge your credit card for $100. For essentials, I told her you have my credit card, and she said no, you just gave me your ID. I said yes, I did. Can you look under my ID, please? 2). After we checked into our very cold room, I came back downstairs to ask if they had 4 extra blankets, as both my sister and I have arthritis and the room's temperature only goes up to 78. She told me that the hotel was booked and she may not have any. She went in the back and brought us 2 blankets and said That's all I have. 3). We left to go to Walmart, and when we came back, the laundry room light was on, and we saw racks of blankets, which she said she did not have anymore. 4). We booked this room because we had 3 adults, 1 teen, and a 2-year-old. I sent my grandson down to get sheets for the pull-out couch, and it took him 30 minutes because she could not find the sheets. He walked in with a bag for the couch. I like to know why it was not put in the closet, just in case someone who booked the room if needed it. I had the feeling that we were not wanted here.

Liked: The staff there was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Jenny at the front desk was fantastic. We will definitely be staying there again.
