Stay in Gros Morne

Good location in the park,...

Liked: The location was good. Otherwise nothing special. We booked the room, then got an email telling us where we'd be staying (the address.) So we did have a tiny peek of ocean. Some rooms had better views.
Disliked: The hotel was older but has been redecorated. It was noisy. The coffee maker didn't work. The cord was too short so we had to try making coffee using an outlet... and put the coffee maker on the floor. I finally called the manager (we brought our breakfast fixings with us to save money) He did bring a new coffee maker. I told him the cord was too short in the 'kitchen' area. He said "you can just move the refrigerator." Move the refrigerator? I was not pleased. We also paid a $40 (US) resort fee that got added on AFTER I had made the reservation. This is NOT a resort. It was on old motel. With no extra benefits.

Great stay in Rocky Harbour

Good

Liked: These folk have a number of properties around Rocky Harbour, so experiences will differ. We were in the “orange building” on Pond Road. Comfortable, everything as advertised, porch, free parking, quiet neighborhood, a small view of the ocean.
Disliked: On the edge of town, but it’s a small place so that’s not a huge issue. The walls are really thin, could hear conversation and snoring in the room next door, footsteps above. WiFi was didn’t work well.

Very good

Liked: Cottage (called 1-bedroom apartment) was clean and well equipped. Location good. A good base for exploring the area.

Liked: Extra location, extra clean, extra near of everything we wanted to do, extra easy in & out ! The best ,

Liked: The location was good. However all of Rocky Habour us a good location.
Disliked: There was no microwave and a bowling water advisery was in affect....no keetle...only coffee machine and small fridge. They did give us 2 small bottle of water...for the 2 night stay!!!!

Liked: That’s a really lovely cottage with complete and new facilities . The bed is very comfort and the room is clean. And the staffs are very nice!
