Disliked: cigarette butts on hallway floorno pet areadisgusting breakfastnonsmoking room reeked of smoke homelesss person chased wife and granddaughter to hotelexterior doors unlocked 24/7management confirmed on booking.com that total for dogs would be $25 but desk clerk insisted that they had changed ownership and no no longer abided by previous commitments charged $75charged 3.5% fee on all debit transactions desk clerk told me that if i was not satisfied with changes she could cancel the reservation and i could find another hotel after a 12 hour drivehomeless camp directly across street from entance grocery carts in roadplace was under construction next to boarded up abandoned motelthis is NOT la quinta i booked do NOT even think of staying here

Worst experience ever!

Liked: The staff who work there are phenomenal not the owner.
Disliked: This is not the first time we stayed in this hotel but it was definitely the last one. We always travel with our service dog and we have never had any issues until now when the new owner, Mr. El-Shabazz, demanded that we needed to show the papers to show that our dog was a service dog. I tried to explain him that we don’t need to show any kind of documentation but he insisted that if we don’t have the papers we needed to pay the pet fee. He ordered the person at the reception to make the charge and he left without letting us say anything else. It was very rude. I have a picture from de ADA, proving that what he did was illegal and a discrimination. I am so sorry that what it used to be an excellent hotel, now it’s becoming a very bad place.
