Lovely overnight stay to break...

Liked: The bedding was crisp and clean. The room was spacious enough for our one night stay. It was perfect for a break from a long drive. The evening was spent in the lounge / dining room. We had a bite to eat and played a board game (brought with us). Breakfast was substantial.
Disliked: The varnish used on the tables in the lounge made it feel super sticky, even after wiping them down with detergent.

Disliked: Over priced over indulgent menu for what the hotel is. The chef clearly has ambitions of grandeur. Wrong place for that.

Lovely comfortable hotel

Liked: A lovely hotel, very comfy beds, clean room, friendly staff and great breakfast.
Disliked: The only downside was the pressure of the shower was ridiculously high to get hot water, to the point that it sprayed everywhere and got everything in the bathroom soaked!

Disappointing

Liked: Staff helpful
Disliked: Noises from staff/guest's through the night & early in the morning. Humming Noises through the night, not sure from where but kept me awake.
