Never stay here

Liked: nothing
Disliked: Dirty, had repair work that was never finished. No toilet top, tv was cracked. Bathtub was awful. Have to file a claim with credit card company to get my $20 deposit back.

Liked: Did not have breakfast but over all was an ok stay we would stay there again if we got chance
Disliked: Just how close was to a main road the loudness but it’s understandable

One Stop and Done

Liked: Very inexpensive. Close to ISU.
Disliked: The faucet in the sink was to close to the rim of the sink. Could not properly was our hands. The tub had , apparently, been painted . Ridiculous thing to do for a tub. The paint was peeling off. No non - slip material in the bottom of the tub. No safety bars or handles in the shower to hold on to.

Kind staff... But with a...

Liked: Staff were kind and considerate. They are aware that conditions are not ideal for what they are charging (total solar eclipse prices were insane for the room). They made sure that we were ok with the room and let me know they were available should we need them. No bed bugs. No other bugs. Beds were actually comfortable!
Disliked: The hotel is very rundown. Cracks in mirrors, super old bedding, burn hole in one of the top sheets, loud street. It is not somewhere I would stay again until it is majorly updated. It felt like the set of a horror movie.

I just needed economy, arrive...

Liked: Economy
Disliked: Complimentary soap was brittle and of poor quality.No complimentary shampoo (minimal problem as I have minimal hair).

Liked: We reserved late for a global event (eclipse) so we were glad to find a room. Staff was very friendly
Disliked: It is bare bones, very dated
