Kind staff... But with a...

Liked: Staff were kind and considerate. They are aware that conditions are not ideal for what they are charging (total solar eclipse prices were insane for the room). They made sure that we were ok with the room and let me know they were available should we need them. No bed bugs. No other bugs. Beds were actually comfortable!
Disliked: The hotel is very rundown. Cracks in mirrors, super old bedding, burn hole in one of the top sheets, loud street. It is not somewhere I would stay again until it is majorly updated. It felt like the set of a horror movie.

Disliked: Complimentary soap was brittle and of poor quality.No complimentary shampoo (minimal problem as I have minimal hair).

Liked: We reserved late for a global event (eclipse) so we were glad to find a room. Staff was very friendly
Disliked: It is bare bones, very dated

Liked: Cockroaches and Bed bugs! And the manager said I was lying and said that I brought them. The rooms are trashed and disgusting. I didn’t even stay the whole time because it’s a run down drug hotel by the looks of some of the people hanging outside. Will not go back.

Disliked: I didn't like the whole stay I got charged for 3 days and stayed one I stay in hotels this is terrible and I'm not going to just go for this billshitI trust these apps why would they take me here

The management was very accommodating...

Liked: I was in town to visit my Father who was a patient in Union Hospital and the Statesman was located practically right next door! Less than a five minute walk
Disliked: no Wi-Fi in my room,no premium TV channels

Disliked: They advised me the water heater out..be fixed ..it wasn't like I was told ..the room was freezing .. smelled awful..I checked in at 11 am ish..and decided to sleep.and leave to find a hot shower ..I will go back and get my deposit for the key
