Good

Liked: The room was big, quiet, and clean. The hotel was close to Coles, cafes, and restaurants, and the bus stop was also at a walking distance to get to the City in ~30 mins.
Disliked: The connecting door with the adjacent room was not locked, which added discomfort as another couple were staying in the adjacent room - there was no one at the reception, so I had to get help from the Sports bar downstairs to get the connecting door locked as the phone doesn't work after 4 pm. Also, there was no tissue-box in the room.

Convenient location

Liked: Hotel is in a great location, very close to Canberra CBD. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure.
Disliked: One of our rooms had a large wasps nest on the balcony, which meant we couldn't sit outside. The other room had a significantly smaller bathroom despite paying the same price. There was also no TV remote in that room, and a couple of hairs in the bed.

Pleasant

Liked: Reasonable price, ok food
Disliked: Fire alarms went off, not their fault, a room smoker apparently, but seemed there was no one about to do counts etc etc people all over place at 0230 0300 in morning.
