Liked: Nothing the stay was awful
Disliked: Cigarette smoke, mold, rooms not vacuumed, hairs on the bed.

Worst experience ever!!!!!

Liked: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!
Disliked: AC quit in the middle of the night Extension cords everywhere Pool and hot tub disgusting Shower was only high enough for a child So many bugs in the light that it didn’t show light Dog shit everywhere that had grass TV didn’t work in the morning Had to go to 3 different locations to find a person to check in with Person at front desk was very rude

Perfect for one night

Liked: Great location and a good value if you're just stopping for the night.
Disliked: Nothing really bad. Just old. Obviously a roadside motel from the 70s.

Not satisfied with accommodations

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: All of the facilities, furniture things could be updated.Couch had hole in it & you sank. For the price paid should have been cleaner, room updated.Outdoor pool & spa needs work & upkeep.There was no breakfast.

Is it 1976?

Liked: It was close to downtown Mackinaw City. Easy to find right off of I-75. It was not too crowded for a summer weekend.
Disliked: Too expensive for a room that looked like it had not been updated in 40 years. The window in the bathroom was open when we arrived. So we figured it was to let the smell of mildew/1970s cabin-esque air out. So we left it open and when we came back that night, there were hundreds of small, dead bugs in the bottom of the shower. Also caught a horse fly the size of my pinkie flying around in there. There was only one tiny trash can for the whole room. There was a TV, but it did not seem to have any connection to the internet for streaming services or have standard cable. No picnic tables outside to sit and eat at. Only one, sad looking grill for the entire motel.

For a touristic city like...

Disliked: 1. Rude Staff: The room did not have an Iron and an ironing board. I called the front desk and asked if they had an additional iron we could borrow. There was a girl who said "if there is not in the room then there is none available". I asked that I understand there is none available and since all the rooms are not booked for this place, could you check to see if you can find out and provide one for us? She said "Call back in 5 minutes." The way she said it was not so good and it was clear to me that after 5 minutes call she will say that there is none available. So I did not wanted to hear her rudeness and I never called. I believe the management needs their staff to be trained properly from Canadian Customer Service Industry because Canadians do anything to ensure their customers are satisfied. Very poor Service. 2. Cleanliness: The room was not clean when we check in, it looked like there could be bed bugs. 3. Pet Friendly: I paid for a pet friendly room and they charged pet services, but the beds were not pet friendly as my pets were kept hiding under the bed and it was really hard to get them out from under the bed. Management must consider that the beds are pet friendly and the pets must not get hidden under the bed. 4. The office for this location is not even on the property itself. It is really not nice that staff is rude on the phone and no one is actually available in the office on site. You will need to walk about 5 minutes to go to a different motel and that is where they are operating for this site.

Liked: Nice location.
Disliked: Small room and blankets were really rough on bed. Outlets and lights barely worked.

Passable

Liked: Location was nice and had access to the walking/bike path to walk to the shopping strips and ferry. The Family suite was an awesome price!
Disliked: Bathroom needed updating. Floor felt very dirty. Found a couple of hairs under the sheets.

Disliked: Beds where old,and broken,floor had stains on it,room was stinky and dirty.air conditioner was was plugged into extension cord.
