Exceptional
Liked: The property was adorable, the room was clean and comfortable, and they have a full kitchen for guest use. They also are dog friendly, which is a big plus for us!

So quiet and cozy!
Liked: Starlight Lodge was perfect for our quiet weekend stay. The room was cozy, the owner’s family was so friendly and hospitable, and it was easy to find. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Cape!

Liked: Clean, homey, easy to get to
Disliked: Kitchen was not stocked with coffee or cups or paper towels and napkins. Otherwise it was great

Amazing
Liked: I loved it as did my 5 yr old it was beautiful and clean and comfortable, had good amenities. They were so kind it was lovely no complaints I will be back!

Ok but not great
Liked: The management was very friendly & accommodating. It was close to many restaurants, shopping & activities.
Disliked: It was very old. The towels & linens need to be refreshed & in white so they can be bleached. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Old heating & air conditioner. Retro for sure but not modern at all. Could stand for more cleaning.

A base for sightseeing
Liked: The central location worked well for us as a base to visit various spots all over the Cape, and we needed a place that is pet friendly. We appreciated that it is on the more affordable side of the price spectrum.
Disliked: Several of the gripper strips on the bottom of the bathtub were missing, making the tub very slippery. We had to be very careful when taking a shower. There is no fan for the bathroom, allowing it to steam up quickly and profoundly. The curtain for the front window does not block out all light and the front porch light is wired to stay on all night. This means quite a bit of light got into the room all night and was disturbing when trying to sleep.
