Liked: It was close to campus and the a/c was cold.
Disliked: The beds were hard. The pillows were small and hard. The tub had a large crack. The tv didn’t work.

Liked: The bedding is very comfortable. The location is very convenient to Mississippi State.
Disliked: I believe the hotel is converting to a Clarion at the moment. but it is currently lacking a lot in the transition process. There was no internet available for our 2 nights stay. The refrigerator leaked inside and left water pooled on the bottom. The lighting in the room is not good at all. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast. We have stayed when it was a Microtel and then when it was 1st the Starkville Inn. All of our prior stays there has been a good breakfast: some type of egg, oatmeal, etc. This time: just waffle and cereal. Very disappointing especially when Booking.com advertises "breakfast". Also, several of the staff members smelled of marijuana. We noted them out back between checking customers in, etc.. smoking. Not a pleasant smell to have to walk into. We took care of getting towels, emptying trash, etc as we did not want the smell of pot in the room with our belongings.
