I was NOT happy here!!...

Liked: We chose this hotel for the price from Booking.com. However it is not worth the savings to get such poor service. The room felt so musty and the lights in the bathroom were so dim I couldn't see to put on makeup.
Disliked: This place has the WORST staff! I have traveled to Starkville for the past year and have stayed at this inn for at least 4 times. Each time, they staff is so UNPROFESSIONAL! They do not even look like they are staff members. On my last visit, we traveled all morning and were busy all day, when we returned to the hotel our keys would not work. There was NO ONE in the office for at least 15 minutes while we waited for help to change the keys. NO Staff member was available at all. Then when he finally came inside from the back door, I was so tired that I grabbed the keys from the desk and he "smartmouthed" me for doing that! He continued to talk back and walk away from the desk. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL service I have ever received at any hotel. My daughter has 3 more years at STATE and we will NEVER use this hotel ever again!

Liked: I loved the promptness and the politeness of the gentleman who checked us in on Friday evening. The breakfast hostess was very friendly, pleasant and kind. I will be staying there every trip back home
Disliked: I could have saved a few extra $$. But the hotel in general is very comfortable. I recommend it highly.

Bad

Disliked: no remote room turns out didn’t need one TV didn’t work, bathroom was filthy. Still a bar soap left in the shower from previous customer. Crash can was filthy in stock. Elevator did not work breakfast was I don’t even know what breakfast was. It was a mess coffee was called which was at 8 o’clock this morning. Nothing was really offered.
