Ok could be much better...

Liked: Modern designed lobby. Clean. Generally convenient location.
Disliked: Not very polite staff ( the had attitude). The drain on the bathtub was clogged and thus a pond was formed when bathing which was disgusting. Slippers were only left for one person only but we were two. Lastly, at the checkout we were charged of the so called city tax which we thought it was already included in the total price as displayed on booking (booking was saying “ taxed included” so we thought this tax was included but at the end we payed an extra 26 euro for this “city tax” something that left us believing that we double payed this tax).

Unfortunately a rather bad experience…!

Liked: The hotel is located just opposite the Bologna Centrale train station - perfect! In the morning they serve a nice buffet breakfast at the restaurant in the lower lobby area. There’s a nice choice on offer…The hotel room in general is very spacious and the Star-Bed is overly comfy…! The toiletries in the bathroom are of superior quality and have a lovely smell.
Disliked: I was „upgraded“ to a room on floor 7! However, the so called upgrade was a terrible downgrade:On top of floor 7 is the installation of the Air Conditioner of the hotel - there is incredibly loud noise 24/7 and very bad vibrations inside the room. Even the floor is trembling from that noise. No way of keeping the window open at night - that noise is killing your sleep. But also with closed window the noise is unbearable.Never ever have I experienced such bad noise and vibrations in a hotel room anywhere in the world… - basically there should be a partial refund of the price paid for the enormous inconvenience!

Good option near train station

Liked: Room was very large and very comfortable
Disliked: Hotel is right across the street from the train station so need to walk 10-15 minutes to the more interesting areas of Bologna but great if you are arriving late from airport or train station.

The food in the city...

Liked: It's proximity to the train station. Excellent breakfast although the moment you stand up to get something else, they clear your plate and reset the table. They really should have little signs on the table that say finished or still here. It would save them a lot of money.
Disliked: I had a lot of luggage so I booked near the train station to make it easier for me to get my stuff across the street to take the train. It is quite a walk into the main area of town. For a short day, it was perfect.
