Liked: Great location and friendly staff
Disliked: The first night there was an awful smell in the bathroom so they moved us. The second night, the air conditioner didn’t cool the room so they moved us again. for the rest of our stay, the small air conditioner didn’t cool the whole room Also, there was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee pods

Nice place, but no longer...

Liked: I have stayed in Stara several times before-- and all before the pandemic. The place is beautiful, the rooms are super spacious, and the location is excellent.
Disliked: This is supposed to be a five star hotel. They don't have cable tv, they haven't solved the issue of their A/C machines (which are portable units that are very loud), and this time, as opposed to previous occasions, the breakfast was a rather mediocre offering.

Liked: good location. nice rooftop restaurant.
Disliked: TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! We asked to speak to hotel manager about the problems & he avoided us for a WEEK. Staff kept making excuses for why manager was not available. UNACCEPTABLE to ignore customers!!Air conditioning is a portable unit that requires the sliding door to stay open to use!! Bugs came in because door needed to stay open. TERRIBLE housekeeping. No toilet paper & shampoo not supplied daily. Not even when we asked for it. Only 2 towels even if you’re 3 people. Towels are mismatched & torn. I took photos. Front desk accused me of “stealing” their towels. Are you serious??!! No coffee maker even though room description says so. BAD HOTEL STAY. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE again.
