Liked: Convenient to Hammersmith transportation and places to eat. Friendly & helpful staff. Clean. Reasonably priced.
Disliked: On a busy road near police and fire brigade stations. Tight shower / WC room and stairways. No elevator or ac.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and the room clean and bed comfortable.
Disliked: Rooms impersonal, needing update, no toileteries in the bathroom. I thought it was expensive for what we experienced. Area has v expensive restaurants which may be why the hotel price was as it was.

Disliked: It was very hot in London during our stay and there was only a small fan to help

Clean, cosy and very helpful...

Liked: Booked a room here last minute. We were unable to be there for check in hours but they sorted us out and put our bags in the room for us. Great service and would definitely stay here again. The room was small but for the money it was great. Clean and beds were very comfy!

Comfortable stay and amazing staff

Liked: Star Hotel is nice. The building is quite old but the staff did their best to keep it clean. They were also very nice and helpful. It is in a nice neighborhood with a Tesco Superstore nearby and some small cafes. Hammersmit Station is closest and it has three lines which is super convenient.
Disliked: The walls are thin so you can hear even normal level of speaking. There is no small fridge in the room which I think is a standard for any hotel. The area can be quite scary at around 9pm because there are junkies hanging around the area. We witnessed one incident which was quite traumatizing but I learned this is quite a common scene in London (junkies hanging around and the smell of weed).

Liked: Nicer than we were expecting for the price we paid. Nice clean room and ensuite. Comfy bed. Perfect location for our plans. Friendly polite and helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing that stands out.

Room great for a night...

Liked: Location was good for what we needed and the cleanliness off the room was excellent.
Disliked: Room was smaller than expected. En-suite was small so quite difficult to move around in especially if a guest was of a larger size. Room did have air con but wasn’t great however a fan was in room which did help.
