Avoid like the plague!

Liked: Nice comfortable bed slept like a baby and room was just the right temperature. Very clean bathroom
Disliked: Sorry guys but the breakfast was terrible and I really resented having to pay £10 for it. By the way on their website it says you can enjoy a continental or full English breakfast for £7.50. If I had had a continental that would have cost me that price but the full English cost more. But it is not stated on the website. The receptionist insisted I had to pay £10 as that was what was quoted to him. The sausages were lukewarm and undercooked still pink in the middle and had a very mushy texture to it. Toast was barely browned and I was not offered white or brown. I left most of the toast in the plate. The fried egg yolk was underdone and the white of the egg overdone and the hash brown was burnt. I was given a large croissant which wasn't heated as per my request no butter came with it uht milk instead of fresh no cereal offered. It was a total disaster but it was a Sunday and I was very hungry.However my most serious complaint was when I tried to leave the hotel at 7.30 this morning I was unable to leave the building as all the doors were securely locked. The reception is only manned until 10pm until they decide to come back. This matter had been reported to the fire safety office and they were not impressed. I had to ring 2 emergency numbers to get someone to comevandblet me out!
