It was an ideal location...

Liked: The hotels location was perfect for us - close to the M4 and to Badminton. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the rooms had the basic facilities and good hot water for the bath!
Disliked: The hotel is in need of some redecoration and upgrading of facilities. In general it is a little tired.Sadly one of our rooms looked out into the staff smoking area and was was in definite need of decoration/refurbishment.

Beautiful setting, food let them...

Liked: Beautiful setting staff are really lovely. They are renovating some of the rooms Garden has been well maintained and looked wonderful.
Disliked: Food on the Bar Menu was dreadful I had chicken burger which was filet of chicken in batter in a roll. It was revolting. I’m not sure the fryer oil had been changed which affected the taste of the food. The A la Carte menu much better.

Excellent location for our trip,...

Liked: Location excellent, near M4. Room comfortable, bathroom well-equipped.
Disliked: Had to request a second chair for our superior room. Breakfast was OK, but soda bread was inedible and bacon didn't appear freshly-cooked.Generally, they need to be more pro-active - anticipating needs of guests.
