Great location, disappointing hotel

Liked: The location and surrounding grounds
Disliked: Awful food, poor drink selection and a tiny bedroom. Water not replaced in room,temperature hard to control in shower and a bathroom radiator that we couldn’t turn off in 30 degree heat

Disliked: Food was over priced and my steak was not worth it. I expected better for the price

Convenient but disappointing

Liked: The location was beautiful, and staying there was convenient as we were attending a wedding reception there.
Disliked: The hotel accommodation was very dated - shower only ran cold water, tiny little fan in the room despite it being very warm, We booked two rooms - one for us and and another for our daughters but the rooms were at opposite ends of the hotel.

Liked: Beautiful hotel in amazing countryside. Tranquil and peaceful environment. Perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in comfort. The staff were 10 out of 10, extremely attentive and dedicated. A special mention to Loretta in the bar, Sue B in the restaurant and to the gentleman in charge of night Reception. Great food and drink at a reasonable price. Room, bathroom and hotel in general super clean and beautifully looked after. We had a really memorable stay and will definitely go back.
