Exceptional accommodation, perfect location, wonderful...

Liked: The location was perfect with just peace and quiet to relax. The property was exceptional - a beautiful historic manor house with character and many original features. The proprietor and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was furnished with authentic period furniture in keeping with the house. The bed was just perfect - really comfortable - and the bathroom facilities looked brand new - all immaculately clean. The food was exceptional with many home grown items prepared especially. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a perfect break in the Peak District.

Beautiful hotel full of character...

Liked: We loved the location, beautiful well maintained grounds close to points of interest. The room was really big, clean and comfortable. The owner welcomed us on arrival with lovely home made cakes and drinks, it was so nice!
