Beautiful hotel full of character...

Liked: We loved the location, beautiful well maintained grounds close to points of interest. The room was really big, clean and comfortable. The owner welcomed us on arrival with lovely home made cakes and drinks, it was so nice!

excellent place for getting away...

Liked: Met on arrival by happy smiling host who served us with tea/coffee with home made flapjack and shortbread biscuits, lovely room spacious with bath and shower room. Location is isolated but within 1 mile distance of a pub for food n drink, ideal walking area. Breakfast was great all locally sourced food.

Liked: The location of the property in the midst of magnificent Staffordshire Peak District countryside was enhanced by the ambience of this dignified historic house with excellent space and facilities.The EV charger is an additional bonus.A tray of tea and cakes on arrival and delicious 'light suppers' were much appreciated.
