Stanshope Hall

We had a fantastic stay...

Liked: Stanshope Hall is in a superb location surrounded by fields with plenty of walking opportunities on the doorstep. Naomi is a very welcoming host and her staff are very attentive. We loved the open fire in the lounge, the bed was comfortable, and the freestanding bath was great. Breakfast is exceptional with either homemade or homegrown produce complemented by food sourced locally.

Great discovery

Liked: It was such a great experience to stay at Stanshope hall! In the evening upon our check-in we were welcomed with tea and scones in front of a fireplace in the common area, it was the best way to unwind after the drive and hike on that day. The lady checking us in was so nice and welcoming, the breakfast next day was delicious, especially the homemade vegeterian sausages. The beds were comfortable, the hall is very querky, the location is excellent and very peaceful. I would definitely return.

A wonderful b&b with even...

Liked: One of, if not the best b&b we have ever stayed at. Naomi and the other staff were so attentive and caring. The breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh. The bedroom was stocked with everything you would need. Don’t even question if this place is right for you, just go ahead and book a room, you won’t regret it. 10/10 will be coming back.

Liked: We had a lovely welcome from Naomi,tea and homemade biscuits by the fire when we arrived.,.Our room was very comfortable,and breakfast was delicious. It is a very quiet area with stunning views just perfect for us .

Idyllic location and great night...

Liked: Had a lovely one night stay. We were welcomed with a tea with homemade biscuits and a roaring fire. The room was very big and cosy with stunning views. Bed very comfortable and had a great sleep. Bathroom very clean and big bath tub plus great shower. Breakfast was delicious. Staff really attentive and friendly. Location perfect for our walks. Would definitely come back.
