Liked: Booked to stay due to being a short drive from scafell pike.Was instantly made to feel welcome by the lovely staff, so friendly!!Our dog flint is a little nervous guy and it was lovely how the staff welcomed him but didn't press his friendship..but he still got treats
Disliked: That i was too tired to stay in the bar later

Friendly pub, good beer, very...

Enough said above... disappointing, especially...

Liked: The staff were excellent, ( no complaints there) food was super, generous portions, beer excellent...
Disliked: The the room was described as "Premium double room with garden view" not on this planet, small room.. view of carpark only!!! bathroom requires extractor fan, black damp around the ceiling above shower, 5 ply board outside shower cubicle!!!! If required, pictures taken......
