One night only but what...

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Best scrambled egg I've had for a long time. Field mushrooms were a bonus.

Lovely building but not worth...

Liked: The building is beautiful. The room was nicely decorated and comfy super king size bed. Food was nice.
Disliked: - no way worth £345 a night- sons bed was fold up bed with metal bar across where folded could be felt on his back when lying on it. Not right size for a 15 year old. Age is asked upon booking but clearly ignored. - blinds don’t block light out- the lift to third floor broken so had to carry all luggage down staircase- air con unit extremely noisy but was needed as hot weather - buffet food at breakfast badly located and blocked up when trying to get to juice or cereals etc- had to ask for plates at breakfast. - had to ask for tea and coffee as only came to table once. - when I mentioned to reception I was told I couldn’t have anything knocked off bill as ready paid- well you have to pay on check in so that’s an easy cop out!- there for a wedding which was beautiful but the chairs were small and very uncomfortable when sat in them for nearly 4 hours.

Liked: The room and location was beautiful, the staff everywhere were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The room service breakfast was amazing, good portion size and delicious food.
