What is 5 stars theses...

Liked: It was central.
Disliked: This is a 3.5 star hotel at best. Looked renovated in. Early 90's old and tired. Staff were all non English speaking males with no front of house females. A bit of culture problem i would say. Lifts were not working and the car parking was atrocious. Friday night 9:30 bar closed and guest told to go somewhere else. Breakfast was all cooked from frozen and completely terrible and NOT 5 star. The only thing that gave the idea of 5 stars was the name and marble table out the front of the worst lifts possible. Pretty poor offering from the Stamford plaza name.

Superb

Liked: Wonderful, friendly staff, location excellent.
Disliked: Despite a free upgrade to a park view room, my room didn't have a bathtub, which my original one did. I wasnt advised this but the view was beautiful.

Overall the stay met my...

Liked: In room dining and a swim at the heated pool was great.
Disliked: I could hear my neighbours next door who came home late. unfortunately the rooms are not fully sound proof and I was awoken multiple times during the night.
