Hotel Description
This 18th-century country house family-run hotel features 42 individually styled rooms and suites. All rooms feature an private bathroom a flat-screen Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is provided in the morning. A fine dining menu features local produce in The Dining Room restaurant and there is a casual lounge bar that serves real ales good homemade food. The hotel is located just on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds close to South Humber bank Immingham Ports Grimsby Docks and Killingholme. There is a 24-hour reception and we have a small on-site gym.

Just ok

Liked: It was very clean and the bathroom had been recently modernised to a lovely standard.
Disliked: The room was exceptionally warm even with a fan in the room. And no fridge in the room for fresh milk and water. And I don’t think 1 complimentary bottle of water is acceptable for a family. The service wasn’t the best especially when we ate in the restaurant on the first evening.

I am a coffee drinker...

Liked: It was very nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly
Disliked: Didn't top up the coffee and biscuits, and I don't drink tea

Superb

Liked: Bed very comfy, breakfast was very nice and good value for money. The staff were lovely, enjoyed our stay
Disliked: The room was very very hot couldn't turn underfloor heating off in bathroom
