Fantastic stay

Liked: Went on the 21.06 for my daughters birthday. The Ebor suite we had was amazing with our own little courtyard. The room was spacious, cozy and exceptionally clean. The host was so helpful like our own personal tour guide. Breakfast was fantastic had eggs benedict perfect and lots of continental choice

Liked: Friendly staff. No problems with car parking. Room comfortable and clean.If something to improve add a few biscuits to hospitality tray.

Amazing guest house to stay...

Liked: Great little find we stayed in the ebor suite had its own private entrance and terrace was a lovely sun trap,staff very friendly worked hard nothing to much trouble very organised,plenty for breakfast ordered it the night before home made bread which was lovely guest house down a quiet road about 15 to 20 min walk to pubs and restaurants if you go to York this guest house is a must

Liked: Convenient and quiet location close to the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
Disliked: Old and uncomfortable bed, small and a bit lumpy. We didn't sleep well. Sink with 2 taps - cold and (dangerously) hot water.

Liked: The location was perfect - an easy walk from the centre but also the railway station. Danny was happy to prepare our breakfast a little early so we could catch our bus to Castle Howard. The breakfast was delicious by the way.
Disliked: The only tiny thing was the room was pretty tiny and definitely only had room for a double bed but this was reflected in the price.
