Small, cosy, superbly located, clean...

Liked: Lots of tiny details to make you feel welcome, from some free items in the small fridge to free parking out of hours, including a wide range of breakfast options in a cosy conservatory. Room was very clean and of a good size. Hotel was about 15-20 min walking from centre. in a quiet street with almost no traffic.

A tranquil haven away from...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive. The room was comfortable and the shower room was clean. The hotel was very quiet and being able to park outside was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely and I liked the fact that fresh fruit was available. The garden was very secluded, a great space away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford traffic just a street away.
Disliked: The only slight niggle I had was the lack of tea bags in the room though the lovely hot chocolate I had made up for it!

Liked: We took the family room on the ground floor. There was plenty of space for the double plus 2 single beds, it was bright and cheerful, and had lovely big patio doors onto the garden. Hotel location was perfect for us - relatively quiet neighbourhood but just a short walk into town

Lovely hotel. Great value for...

Liked: We have stayed here multiple times and really like the hotel. We have found it very clean, comfortable and quiet and it is extremely convenient for Oxford City Centre. The buses run regularly and it is a 24 minute walk at most.
Disliked: The only criticism would be the coffee machine at breakfast which, whilst it would give great flexibility to the experienced user can be a challenge for the casual user and is often a source of discussion for the guests. Perhaps it could be set to default to the right size cup. The machines in the bedrooms are much easier to use.

Disliked: Water was not warm in the evening for a bath.

Overall a very enjoyable stay...

Liked: Excellent location and off road parking. Room facilities were adequate and a large garden to sit in. Regular bus services to and from the City.
Disliked: Breakfast room/conservatory was too small when all guests arrived at the same time. Breakfast selection was basic but enough. Cooked food needs to be served or made available hot. On our stay food was just tepid/Luke warm which could lead to bigger problems.
