Bad

Liked: It was so poor we couldn't stay there.
Disliked: Pervasive and persistent pungency of tobacco smoke throughout property despite no smoking policy and signage. Room was too small for a double bed so they substituted with a large single which was insufficient for two. Room was very hot and very poorly ventilated. There was a fan having very little effect as the window was high up and very small. Shower opened straight onto room with the shower mat between the bed and cubicle....we have stayed in many basic places before however this was totally unacceptable.

Liked: The breakfast and friendliness of staff
Disliked: Room and bathroom was dirty. Loud partying guests late at night and cigarette smoke came in through our window

Liked: The staff were lovely and helpful and thoughtful.
Disliked: Unfortunately the whole place could do with some TLC. It needs a desperate deep clean I'm sorry to say and some new mattresses. It does the job if it's a stop over but not for more than a couple of days. No air con so they were thoughtful enough and provided a fan as it was very warm. You can tell they try hard and want to please they just need to get a better cleaning regime.
