St Georges Lodge Stay

Liked: It was close to where we wanted to go as we were picking daughter up from university. Ideal having a shop two doors away.Breakfast was value for money. Full English breakfast, two slices of toast, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. All made fresh in front of us.
Disliked: The only thing was they knocked on door at 7.15.to wake up for breakfast. I don't feel they need to knock on customers doors. Need music on whilst eating, it was very quiet

Poor quality room.

Liked: Central location for where we needed to be.
Disliked: Very very outdated. Classed as a double room, but a very small 4’6”bed with one pillow each (which were actually wider than the bed)The window was propped open with a stick and does not close properly, meaning there was no protection against the road noise all night long. Don’t advertise the property as including a TV when it is little more that a 12” mini screen from 1990 that can only be viewed from the dresser No window in the bathroom which is easily rectified with an extractor fan. Sadly this didn’t work either. Woken with a knock at the door just before 8am asking us if we are coming to breakfast which is advertised to finish at 9am. Really wasn’t worth the effort tbh. They would be far better just leaving the communal kitchen with some cereal, fruit and bread items. Parking is a bit of a lottery depending on your arrival time as the nearest space we found was around 400 yards awayI could say it was cheap and cheerful, but sadly only half of that statement is true.

Nothing positive about this place...

Disliked: Very run down and tired. Constant smell from restaurant next door. Two stars is very generous.

Disliked: It was tha smallest room I have ever seen in a bed breakfast. It smelt very bad and the furniture and bedding was disgraceful. This accommodation should de on your website. We left almost immediately after check in and stayed somewhere else nearby in Wimbledon.
