This must be the best...

Liked: The room was very basic but beautifully quiet. Breakfast was excellent at a breakfast bar. Free parking in a nearby street was a major unexpected bonus. The manager is a really nice chap who works tirelessly to make sure his guests are happy. The entrance is rather unprepossessing via steep stairs and the facilities very basic. But for what you’re paying they’re fine.
Disliked: We had trouble finding the hotel as the photo used is rather misleading.

Pleasant

Liked: On the positive side, booking and checking in/out were easy, on the negative side, heating was turned off in the middle of the night. The toilet was quite tiny but I appreciate how it was separate from the shower. The building is very quiet, the only sound I could hear for most of the night was the bathroom fan.

Very basic and looking tired...

Liked: Everything in my room worked ( shower, toilet, TV, lights and sockets ) oh and heating. it was basic but ok. wardrobe to hang cloths and tea and coffee. towels provided but i had my own. bed was made daily.Breakfast was ok, not the best but not the worst either.
Disliked: Glass above the door let in light and i like a dark room when sleeping. Parking is residential, so have to find a spot.

Good Value For Money.

Liked: It’s in a great location, right next to a corner shop and just a short walk away from the train station plus loads of shops and takeaways. The staff are very friendly, couldn’t be any nicer if they tried. I didn’t have any issues to speak to them about, but I get the impression that if I did, they would sort it out without bother.
Disliked: The walls seem quite thin and the floor boards are creaky, if people are inconsiderate and loud you can hear them in your room. But for the price of it, you get what you pay for. It’s a bed and tv with en-suite and breakfast included, for a decent price.You can’t expect perfect soundproofing for the price paid.
