Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Worst deception

Liked: I liked the bathroom although it took a long time to figure out which was hot or cold water, not clearly marked
Disliked: The Hotel is dusty with tattered old carpets the beds have hard mattresses. The tv does not have current news or programs. There was a serious language barrier, the complaints raised were not addressed. We paid for a full English breakfast, we were shocked to be served very dry bacon, chipolata sausage burnt and oily tomato, cheap beans and hash browns. There was just a few slices of white bread, the "Cheff" later dashed across the road to a corner shop to buy a loaf of brown bread. The Hotel is run on skeleton staff, the reception was not manned for more than 30 minutes and we could not check out until the "Cheff" came to the rescue to check-in and check-out guests. We had to wait to get our receipt. When the receptionist came back, no apology, but just explained that "We have a meeting with the boss this time." We felt robbed and will never consider this Hotel ever again. I feel the public must not be deceived by the pictures on this Hotel website and the star rating is a means to rob people. We were utterly disgusted by such a service, this was the worst stay ever.

Our hotel was an expensive...

Liked: This hotel is awful, it’s unclean. One of the rooms had a bad smell. Floors were not hovered, hair in the bath and hairs on the floor in the bathroom. There was pre stains next to the bin. I paid over £700 for two nights for two rooms. Premier Inn is cheaper and 5 star compared to this place. The cooked breakfast was the word I have ever eaten. You pay extra for it but you can not eat it. Full of greace awful taste really bad. We did not eat there the next day. The buffet breakfast is free but after witnessing the waitress dropping bread on the floor just picking it up and putting out for people to toast. I could not believe it.
Disliked: I have stated in the above box. It was shocking on check out I informed the reception about how bad the breakfast was and was told I will not charge you for one of the breakfasts. Yet none of us ate there breakfast it was not edable. I told them the rooms were unclean but received no response.
