Clean and Cosy room. Pleasant...

Liked: Friendly and welcoming staff.Clean room.Comfy bed.Good shower.Quiet residential area but for us an easy walk into York.More personality and probably quieter than one of hotel chains.
Disliked: Decoration in the room a little tired.

Liked: Great location. Parking available. Excellent breakfast, comfortable room and the staff are welcoming and helpful. This is our 2nd stay and we would definitely return. Ideal for race days but equally for a stay in York.
Disliked: We experienced no negatives.

Liked: The hotel is in a good location. It advertises parking for £10 a day but be aware that if you are able to park on the street right outside then it is free.
Disliked: I appreciate that it is an old building and maybe I was unlucky with my room (No.4) but the noise from the other rooms was just awful. I could hear plug sockets being used, tv blaring and all the conversation from next door. Above was constant noise from people moving around. Then to top it off, I can only assume the overbearing noise was from a shower potentially being run in the room above. Avoid this room if you want to get some sleep!

Disliked: Very small bathroom and limited space. Very old property with creaking floors and noise from people walking and talking upstairs & downstairs , loud noise from opening/closing doors around us.
