Good location

Liked: The room was clean, but in need of some modernisation and decorating. We stopped on the top floor which was like an oven, cooled down at night with both windows open. We did not have breakfast, but you have to order what you want the night before and state a time. Location was good for race course and town ( only 1 mile walk) £72 for a Thursday night in July 5/10

Liked: Property was spotless clean from top to bottom, staff were pleasant and friendly, really approachable.Rooms spotless, good wifi and nice sized tv En suite was a good size .
Disliked: At the time of our visit there were works going on outwith the property and it must of been to do with water as the pressure in our room (6 top floor) wasn’t enough to keep the shower operating properly.

Liked: Everything. We have stayed in a variety of places over the past 4 weeks traveling UK. St George's Guest House has been the best. Communication was great. Our room for 3 adults was modern, spacious with good quality linen and towels. Exceptional breakfast served by friendly staff.Parking available for additional cost.

Pleasant

Disliked: I booked a room, all of the photos of which showed the first floor with large windows. But I was put up in the basement, where the room did not match my booking. The toilet smelled musty, the ceilings were low, and there was no ventilation. I booked a room for my family and wanted to get what I paid for. It was advertised as very clean, but there were spiders and cobwebs in every corner.
