St. Clair Inn

The inn is beautiful and...

Liked: The room was well appointed and very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The room was smaller than expected, and the river view, while nice, overlooked a wide, flat roof. The wifi didn't connect to the internet.

Disappointing

Liked: We were traveling with 2 other couples. We picked this hotel due to location and the fact that it had a restaurant and bar. We had plans during the day and wanted a place to all have dinner and drinks that evening and not to worry about driving. The restaurant was closed due to a private party. We were never notified of this beforehand. We would have picked some place else to stay. We ended up walking and getting Chinese takeout. Not at all what we had planned, and put a big damper on the evening we had planned. We could have stayed at a much cheaper place when comparing the amenities we received.

Liked: the breakfast was great. scrambled eggs, bacon, potato, and. toast. plenty of coffee and the view of the river from the dining room is wonderful. got married there on the dock 49 years ago. still great.
