Why Concert-goers love it

Just 2 miles from the O2 Arena, this hostel makes gig nights easy—with public transport practically on your doorstep. Greenwich Station is a 2-minute walk, connecting you to central London in under 20 minutes. Post-show, you can return to a lively atmosphere or chill out in the lounge or outdoor area. Food and Drink Options

The on-site Belushi’s Bar is a big draw, offering guests a 25% discount on food and regular drinks deals. It’s popular for burgers, wings, and pub grub—and stays open late on weekends. While 24/7 room service isn’t available, the bar and surrounding eateries keep you well-fed. A continental breakfast is available daily, perfect for easing into the day after a late gig.

Nightlife Options

This place doubles as a party spot, with its downstairs bar turning into a DJ-led venue on weekends until 2:00. If you're not done after the encore, it's the perfect place to keep the night going. Want something more low-key? Chill in the lounge or head to one of Greenwich’s nearby pubs or late-night cafes.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, great location near transport, and overall value for money. The energetic atmosphere and bar scene get top marks for solo travelers and groups. Reviewers also appreciate the discounts at Belushi’s and the ease of getting to the O2.

Areas for Improvement

Since this is a hostel-style stay, expect shared bathrooms and weekend noise from the bar downstairs. It’s part of the charm for some, but light sleepers should pack earplugs. Towels aren’t included, so bring your own or rent at reception.

The Bottom Line

A fun, affordable choice with easy access to concerts and nightlife—St Christopher's Greenwich is where budget meets beats.

Lynne, Liege, visiting New Cross Inn London Fri, 30 September 2022

Unpleasant staff. Lots of noise. Not worth the price. Kitchen closed at 1p.m. on a Saturday. I wouldn't go back ever.

Liked: Close to train station.
Disliked: Pretty much everything.

Comfortable stay in a great...

Liked: Everything was great overall. The staff was very friendly, as always. The bed, the room, and the facilities were all clean and comfortable. The room was quiet and, thanks to the two windows, the air quality stayed fresh throughout the night — something quite rare in hostels. Excellent value for money.

It was nice.

Liked: It was good. The beds were alright. Everything was put in place to refresh the room. It was quiet in terms of outside noise. It was located centrally in Greenwich and London. Staff were great, too. The young lady who checked me in and served me water during my stay was really nice and professional, we had a good laugh about tattoos; unfortunately, she never told me her name, but I hope she recognizes herself (she deserves a raise). Grumpy was funny. The guy who signed me out was really nice. The pub was great, too, with some events at night. I could work there too. Wi-Fi and other facilities are good. Excellent value for money.
Disliked: Other residents were problematic at times. Noise, phone calls in the room, behaving a bit too friendly for strangers. That's none of the fault of the establishment, though.

Does what it needs to...

Liked: The location is prime for Greenwich.
Disliked: No lifts and the toilets and chill out area need to be cleaned more often and fix the vending machine.
