Wonderful!

Liked: I loved the feel of the hotel and the location. Our room was spacious.

Comfy and Convenient

Liked: Beautiful historic lodging in a perfect location. Beds were super comfortable.
Disliked: Like many older buildings, there were some minor spots needing paint, lock for our room didn't close (door out of alignment). Breakfast choices were pretty bad... we skipped it.

Superb

Liked: Hotel was clean and tidy and in a great position. The trolley stops more or less right outside. We had "hop on hop off" bus tickets and the nearest stop (14) was just 3 blocks away which is also ideal. Area is safe which is also a bonus. Decent Mexican restaurant right next door. I read some previous reviews where people have been complaining about breakfast....ignore them!
Disliked: Toilets can block easily with just paper? Multi flushing instead of a "job lot" will get you around this problem

Liked: Love this hotel. Free safe parking. Street car across the road. Area is fabulous to walk around and see the mansions. Bed very comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful.nice quiet area. Breakfast was good.

Liked: How clean it was. How close to the shuttle trolley car. There was plenty of places to eat in walking distance.

Friendly small hotel in great...

Liked: Nice location near Garden District, right on the streetcar line. The free parking combined with streetcar makes this hotel a perfect choice if you arrive by car. Front desk team was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great!
