St Charles Inn Superior Hotel

Great location, be ready to...

Liked: The location was a great spot. The houses/ building in the area were absolutely beautiful. The trolley was feet’s away from our feet’s.
Disliked: The hotel room smell great when we walked in but the towels had a few left over stains on them. The restroom was supposed to be cleaned but there was a little mess still left over after cleaning crew came through. My biggest problem was the breakfast that was included with stay, it was called continental breakfast but it was more for a get up and go breakfast: granola bars, cereal, muffins, toast/bagel and boiled eggs.

Liked: Very nice, clean hotel. To go quick breakfast included, cereal, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal and juices/coffee. Outside trolley and bus stop right in front of hotel.

Liked: Room was clean, location was convenient, and some of the staff were pleasant.
Disliked: One of the receptionists was unfriendly and unhelpful—advice, don’t hire unfriendly people to deal with guests. There was some wear and tear in the room and hotel in general. Housekeeping did not make the beds. Front desk would not give us bottled water on the day we did not get housekeeping, stating that only housekeeping can give bottled water. I have never experienced this at any hotel before.

Everything a couple needs when...

Liked: Great location . Tram stop right outside the hotel which takes you down to bourbon street and the French quarter . Nice basic breakfast and good parking . Helpful and friendly staff .So lovely local bar / restaurants with live music once you have visited the madness of Bourbon street.Absolutely gorgeous area.
Disliked: No problems
