Disappointing

Liked: Comfy beds, good location.
Disliked: I didn't like that with all the money that was charged. There were no drinks available such as water, juice, soda etc. I had to go shop for drinks and bring them back. The coke machine they do have doesn't work. They say they dont own it, so nothing could be done about it. They didn't have plastic bags for the ice bucket. The construction next door woke me up early every morning. Some tried going into my friends room. Lucky, she had the latch turned so they couldn't get in. No, it was the made service.

Nice hotel in safe district...

Liked: We recently stayed at the St Charles Coach House and overall we enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable as was the bed. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. We liked the proximity to the streetcar, a good breakfast cafe (Avenue Cafe), good restaurant (Lula’s) and great roof top bar in the Pontchartrain Hotel.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the glass in our window was partially covered in a white film, I suspect the double glassing unit had failed. On a VERY NEGATIVE note on the day we checked out we caught the woman from housekeeping cleaning the mugs in our room with one of our dirty towels. She immediately dropped the towel onto the pile of our other used towels. I took the towel to reception and reported what I had witnessed. When questioned by the manager she denied doing it, obviously, and sadly the manager was prepared to believe her even though the towel was covered in coffee stains. I know what I saw and I know that was one of our used towels as it had another stain on it that I recognised.
