St Annes Hotel

A very good guest house...

Liked: A warm welcome from Dave on arrival and good communication throughout the stay. I had the budget double room. Size was fine for single occupancy. Comfortable bed, en suite, good tea/coffee provision and excellent choice of breakfast items. Parking outside the property is limited but ample free parking opposite.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Just what I needed as...

Liked: St Anne's was at the north end of Great Yarmouth in a quiet area and my room looked out into Norfolk Square garden. Only 15 minutes walk from the train station and only a few minutes walk from the main town. The beach was just down the road. Bus stops were nearby and I especially loved the Waterways which was about 5 minutes walk away. The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was excellent everyday - freshly cooked to order. It is not often you get a double bed for single room rates and my bed was also very comfy.
Disliked: A minor detail - small towel - but such a minor detail - and spare towels were available anyway.

Liked: Hosts very friendly & informative. Wonderful breakfast, cosy dining room with pleasant atmosphere. Very dog friendly with a large park opposite & the beach a few minutes walk down the road

Liked: Location close to promenade.Quirky and unique property.Excellent breakfast.Private parking.
Disliked: Two things:This may, or may not have, been associated with the property, but there was a strong drains-related smell outside the property.Not everyone will appreciate a persistent mooching dog (however cute) in the breakfast room.
