Superb

Walking trip to Norwich on...

Liked: Good location, lovely breakfast, staff helpful, lovely setting.
Disliked: The room was 62 steps from reception, the room was very warm all night, and we had two fans working all night. The beds were quite hard/firm

Good location and nice grounds...

Liked: Good location , nice outside space and grounds. Parking . Breakfast decent .
Disliked: Room was incredibly hot , even when the temperature outside dropped. Windows only opened a few inches . Fan was filthy with dust and ineffective . I asked for another and that was worse. Spent a while trying to clean it in the room . Temperature in the room at night was 27 degrees. Hardly slept both nights .

Disappointing

Disliked: Room was quite tired, had internal wardrobe light switch on and off in the middle of the night by itself- reported it and got told maintenance said it was fine, hot breakfast food was seemed like it had been out for hours without being really replaced

No jacuzzi!

Liked: Swimming pool,steam room and sauna.
Disliked: Room was clean,but tired. Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Very disappointed the jacuzzi wasn't working. No mention on the website, apparently a long time problem. The main reason for visit,was for a relaxing treat,so no jacuzzi was a really let down. I only live about half a mile away,wanted to have a total unwind without travelling. Breakfast was ok,but the beans,mushrooms and scrambled eggs were very bland. We're both vegetarian, so don't know how the meat options were.

Very good

Liked: Room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, staff were polite, helpful, and friendly.
Disliked: Lots of dust, cobwebs, and dead bugs in the room, hallways, and around the windows. Net curtains in the room were stained.

Very average hotel and rooms....

Liked: Good location for where we wanted to be, swimming pool was nice and warm .
Disliked: Room was old and dated. Bed was really uncomfortable as were the pillow, asked for different pillows (very lumpy) but no one came to change.Changing rooms of pool were freezing and scruffy.

Amazing stay.

Liked: Amazing hotel, great food and polite helpful staff. Had a relaxing stay which is what we needed.
Disliked: Bed was a little hard but that's jus preference. Had a 5 - 10 minute wait for more food to be cooked, but at least it was fresh when we got it.
