Basic hotel with a decent...
Liked: Great location to Canada's Wonderland and Vaughan Mills Mall. Good breakfast and it was included in the room price. Staff collecting dishes at breakfast were very good at keeping the area clean and tidy. Ordered fettuccine Alfredo from the kitchen in the late evening, and it was delicious, and the lady who took the order was very pleasant. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: Housekeeping service was lacking in our room with dirty cleaning cloths being left on our nightstand, towels for 4 people were changed once in 3 days and only given enough for 2 people. The hairdryer in our room was broken. Breakfast was over crowded and no seating available..One morning an area with extra seating was opened, but this day, the extra seating area was kept closed, so people were standing around unable to eat for long periods.

Liked: 1. Modern, clean facility.2. Location is in an industrial mall area which made a weekend stay quiet and relaxing. 3. Appreciated the included breakfast.4. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: 1. On arrival, check-in was long and complicated because our reservation was booked through a third party, not Marriott. Their systems are not integrated. We were initially told we had no reservation. Then the reservation booking had my name garbled. As a result it took a while to locate my booking. I could have given my confirmation number but they tried to find my reservation through their system first, as a teaching moment for the trainee. They didn't ask about my Marriott Bonvoy number or status but were pleased when I asked if I could add it to my booking. It didn't help that the front-desk trainee was being introduced to this type of booking by her superior. 2. On entry to our room, there were wet towels in the shower, toilet and sink areas. There were only two dry towels in the suite. The housekeepung lady was down the hall and I asked for bath and hand towels. She gave me a supply of towels. She came around later to remove the wet towels.3. The hotel charges a small fee for parking. Most people arrive by car and the hotel location is in a sprawling industrial mall area next to a major highway. The parking charge should be included in the price of the suite, in my opinion. Happily, the manager-on-duty at my departure waived the parking fee even though I never mentioned my concern to anyone at the hotel.
